Community Involvement
Manhas Health Co. was founded by physicians who were born and raised within steps of our main office in Coquitlam. Our physician owners attended elementary school, middle school, and high school in School District 43. They played minor hockey with the New Westminster Royals and the Coquitlam Chiefs and played soccer for Coquitlam, Metro Ford, and Centennial Secondary.
Given their deep connections to the surrounding neighborhood and the guidance they received from local mentors (teachers, coaches, principals), our owners are very passionate about giving back to the community. Our company’s hope is to inspire youth to pursue their dreams and help spread positivity and hope to all members of the Tri-cities. One of our core missions is to provide a sense of community by hosting free events throughout the year. We hope to create lifelong memories for children who participate in these events while simultaneously fostering a “giving back” mentality.
